Men's Snooker League: Men's Singles -
got underway this season with 12 individuals
competing each Monday night at either 5:30 or 7:30 pm. The Champion
from the past few seasons, Jeff Smedvik has decided to taking more
time with his family this year so a new league champion will be
crowned at the end of the season in mid April. The league will play
two full round robins and then break into two Divisions in early
March. After the divisional round robin all the players will play in
the playoffs to determine the A & B Champions for the year. There
are many strong contenders participating in the league and it is too
soon to tell who will be the odds on favorite to capture the A
Division Champion for the year. Each frame won during the round
robin portion of the schedule will be used to calculate the division
participants during the later stages of the season. Good luck to all

Men's Doubles - there are 13 teams competing this
season. Best of Three matches are played each Wednesday evening at
either 5:30 or 7:30 pm. There are some new team combinations this
year and the competition is already heating up. League play got
underway on September 14. There are some new team combinations this
year and the friendly but competitive matches are already hearing
up. New combinations include; Wayne Des Roche & Warren Dyer, Tom
Scerbo and Chuck Lewis, Leigh Sherry & Rick Ratte, John Goodwin &
Rob Vosters, Peter Curry & Hal Driedger and Brian Dougherty & Frank
Lindal. Every frame won is worth 1 point and the collection of
points will determine the teams playoff position. Good luck to all
